High-Traffic Shipping Platform (EU)
The Problem
The platform was built on a legacy .NET architecture and was struggling with reliability issues under real-world load. Shipment failures were frequent, error handling was inconsistent, and scaling for peak traffic had become increasingly risky.
What I Did
I led the modernization of the backend by migrating critical components to ASP.NET Core, improving API reliability, and stabilizing integrations with external carriers. The focus was on creating a predictable, resilient architecture that could handle real-world traffic spikes without failure.
Impact
Reduced failed shipments by approximately 70% and significantly improved system stability during peak traffic periods.
